An old hardware turned furniture store was converted to a new retail home for Sportmart. An outdoor yard area was combined with the existing structure to create a 40,000 sq. ft. open plan. The old wood siding materials were simply covered with new furring and lath to support stucco to give the building a new appearance and solve a fire code deficiency without having to modify the structure of the exterior walls.
